Using this website the customer agrees to the terms and conditions of use (will here onwards be referred to as Discount-flight-tickets User Agreement, or simply “Agreement”), during the time of the website’s usage. The website reserves all rights to update this Agreement without any prior notice. Customers must make sure they read the Agreement carefully, every time before using the website. If the customer does not agree to any of the terms and conditions mentioned below, they are requested to refrain from using the website and the services provided.
The Discount-flight-tickets website id operated by Travelmax LLC, (a Florida Limited Liability Company), Florida Seller of Travel license number ST39634.
The information published on the website is obtained from the concerned airline companies. The website cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions in any information provided and it does not stand guarantee for the accuracy of the information published. There may be currency rate fluctuations during bank processing in cases of international travel and the website does not stand liable for such fluctuations. The prices of airfare published on this website will be displayed in United States Dollars. The class of air tickets, destination city, time of the year, how far in advance the booking is made, the choice of airline are some of the deciding factors based on which the website will or may publish deals or offers to customers.
Only after the issuance of an air ticket does the price remain guaranteed. There may changes in the airfare after the reservation and before ticketing, and in such cases the customer will be notified before proceeding further. The airfare mentioned in the website may or may not be inclusive of baggage fees unless stated otherwise.
First class service is not available on all airlines but will have Business class seats. Customers are requested to read the airline’s detailed policies before making a booking with the specific airline. If a customer makes a reservation in a different class from the original intended, then the website will not be in anyway responsible for the customer’s choice.
Before issuing the tickets, the customers will be issued a reservation confirmation by the website. The booking is complete only after the customer receives a ticket number through e-mail. The confirmation process for an e-ticket takes from 24-48 hours for domestic flight tickets and 72 hours for international flight tickets. The reservation is not guaranteed until it is ticketed. Due to unforeseen reasons, the airline might suddenly increase the price of the ticket post reservation. The website cannot be held financial responsible in such a case. The website will intimate the customer regarding a change in the fare, and it is the customer’s choice whether to cancel the booking or proceed ahead with the new fare in effect. The customers have the right to cancel a reservation if there is an increase in fare provided the customer has not been charged for the ticket. The terms and conditions of the airline may vary from time to time and all customers are advised to get in touch with the airline 72 hours before the departure to reconfirm the ticket and be notified of any last minute changes.
CANCELLATION AND CHANGES
Ticketed reservations cannot be transferred or refunded unless otherwise stated. When customer wants to cancel their ticket on the same day as the reservation, they can directly call the customer care executives in +1-855-576-0710 in order to request for a refund. If the ticket booking is more than 24 hours old, then most airlines deny a refund immediately and the website cannot guarantee any refund in such cases. The customer will have to pay the appropriate cancellation charges that are specific to each airline. Customers not able to make the trip will have to forfeit the entire fare amount and cannot expect any refund either from the website or from the airline. If a customer is denied boarding due to a delayed arrival or for other reasons, they will not be given a refund. Date and name changes will not be allowed on a confirmed itinerary and these come under the rules and policies of the respective airline. So it is necessary that all reservation are made with full names and proper spellings.When there is a requirement to change the spelling in the passenger’s name, the original air ticket will have to be cancelled and a new air ticket will have to be booked under the new spelling, which is subject to availability. In case the airline has approved a cancellation of the air ticket, then a credit is issued in the name of the passenger which has to be used by the same passenger within a stipulated period of time with the same airline. For further clarifications in the matter, the customers are requested to get in touch with the website’s customer support team. For a cancellation with refund, the customers are requested to make a cancellation request prior to the scheduled departure by calling the office of Discount-flight-tickets. While making an alternate booking for the available credit from a cancelled refund, the customers are expected to bear any extra charges due to the fare difference (if any) that may arise. The issued ticket will be valid only on the specified date, time and with the respective airline operator. All of these are governed by the rules and policies of the concerned Airline.
CANCEL FOR REFUND
Discount-flight-tickets will charge an additional processing fee to facilitate a refund for the relevant cancellations. The service fee charged by the website for reserving and confirming tickets will not be refunded. Customers are requested to facilitate a cancellation only through phone. A request for a refund will be processed only if the below mentioned conditions are satisfied.; 1. Traveler has applied for a cancellation with refund and there is a provision for the same by the airline. 2. Traveler should have applied for the cancellation prior to the departure date and time. 3. Waivers are obtained by the website from the airline to process the cancellation and facilitate a refund.The processing time of a refund request depends on the airline operator and the website does not stand guarantee to obtain a refund in a specified period of time. A notification will be sent to the customer from both the airline and the website. This is only an acknowledgement of the cancellation request and not a confirmation for refund. No priority to handle a specific query will be entertained as all queries are processed in a sequential manner. The website and the airline will arrive on a final refund amount which will be directly credited to the customer’s account. The refund process generally takes between 60 to 90 days. In addition to the cancellation penalties charged by the airline, the website will charge a processing fee. In case the refund request is not processed by the airline, then the website will refund the refund processing fee.
CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION
The customers agree to authorize Discount-flight-tickets and its representatives to use the customer’s credit or debit card information to purchase air tickets on their behalf. The amount charged will be displayed on the website and no additional amount will be deducted from the customer’s account.To protect the customers from fraudulent transactions, the website verifies the name, contact details, card details and billing address of the customer with the respective banks. While making a booking for someone else, the card provider agrees to inform the actual passenger regarding the terms and conditions of the website wherever applicable. Such card providers will be financially responsible for their accounts. The customers should provide complete, current and accurate details regarding themselves or the passenger at all circumstances.
BAGGAGE POLICY AND FEES
The website displays an airfare for every trip which is not inclusive of baggage fees unless stated otherwise.Customers with extra baggage in addition to the allowed baggage limit will have to pay for the excess to the corresponding airline directly. To reduce costs, it is always better to travel light. The upper limit for baggage weight varies between airlines and the charge for extra luggage lies in the range of $15 to $200 depending on both the weight and size of the baggage. These rules are outside the control of the website.
CREDIT CARD VERIFICATION
For ensuring the safety and security of the customers, Discount-flight-tickets will validate the following details with a third party database viz. the name, address, contact number and card details of the customer. By accepting the terms and conditions, customers authorize the website to perform the above mentioned verification process. Customers herein acknowledge and concur to the fact that these details will be used by the website and shared with a registered Credit Reference Agency which may store the customer details either in part or whole. In circumstances where the customers’ details are not verified through third party agencies, the website officials will contact the respective bank to complete the verification process. This is done in order to ensure the safety of the customer and not in the intention of a credit check. This process will not affect the customer’s credit rating. Sometimes, the customer may be asked to provide a photocopy of the actual credit or debit card and the details thus obtained will be kept confidential by the website.
PASSPORTS/VISAS/GOVT. ISSUED PHOTO ID/HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
During an international travel, it is mandatory for all passengers to meet the passport, visa, health and other requirements of the country to which they travel or in some cases transit. For entry or transit through most countries, USA/Canadian citizens will be asked to carry a current valid passport; failing which they may be denied entry into the country. Passengers should keep in mind the differences in living standards, health services and accommodation in the destination country may be different from the ones of USA or Canada. So, the passengers are requested to carry all essential items during their travel. It is extremely necessary for passengers to carry their government issued photo ID which will be required at the security check points of airports and while checking into an accommodation in a foreign nation. Each country have their own entry requirements for their countryand its best for passengers to check with the respective consulates. In cases where a passenger is denied boarding, detained or deported, Discount-flight-tickets cannot be held responsible for refunds. Customers should make sure that they have a valid passport and a visa for the process for obtaining these is a lengthy one.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR UNITED STATES
The Homeland Security Department of the United States have laid down new laws effective from January 23rd, 2007 that govern the entry requirements for air travelers into the United States. American and Canadian citizens should compulsorily carry their passports during an international travel and make sure that their passports have a validity of more than 6 months from the last day of the return journey. This may reduce the waiting time or other delays in the US Immigration.

Otherwise, the website will resolve any claim, controversy or dispute arising from the use of the site, the site’s terms and conditions, or the breach, interpretation, termination, enforcement or validity thereof, or the relationship between the customer and the website, in accordance with the subsections below or as otherwise mutually agreed by both the parties in writing.
SUBMISSION TO JURISDICTION; GOVERNING LAW
The above mentioned terms and conditions and the rights of the parties hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States of America, exclusive of conflict of choice of law rules. The customer agrees that any claims shall be brought into a court located in Hillsborough County, Florida, United states of America. All claims must be brought to court within two (2) years from the date on which such claim arose or accrued, unless otherwise prohibited by the applicable law.
FILING CLAIMS IN AN IMPROPER MANNER
The Claims brought against the website must be resolved in accordance with the “Dispute Resolution” section. All Claims that do not conform to this section shall be considered improperly filed and void. If the customer’s Claim is not in accordance with this section, then the website may recover from the customer the attorney fees on behalf of the website and costs up to $10,000, provided that the website will notify the customer in writing that the Claim was improperly filed, and the customer should promptly withdraw the Claim.
